Jashan Auditorium

The Jashan Auditorium at Jabalpur engineering College , with a seating capacity of 250 persons is a central hub for all major events and activities of the institute. It was built by Padhma Bhushan Shri Ajai Chowdhary in the year 2012. Shri Ajai Chowdhry is an Indian IT industry pioneer, best known as one of the six co-founders of HCL, one of India's earliest and most successful IT hardware companies. For his pivotal role in establishing the Indian IT and electronics industry, he was awarded the Padma Bhushan in 2011. He is also an esteemed alumnus of our institute (Batch 1971). He has built the Jashan Auditotium at JEC as a gift to his alma mater and as a tribute to his parents. Since then, this auditorium is being utilised for hosting all major academic and cultural events of the institute.
