The Centralized Library of Jabalpur Engineering College, Jabalpur came into existence since from 1947, le, commencement date of the Government Engineering College, Jabalpur. The Centralized Library of Jabalpur Engineering College, Jabalpur is computerized and fully automated with effect from October, 2006 with all appropriate facilities including complete automation, digitization of resources, networking and net surfing facilities etc. The software used for Library automation is Alice for window (Soft link Asia New Delhi). Details of resources available in the library are as follows:

Relevance of available learning resources including e-resources:

There is provision of write-off system for the disposal of obsolete and old version of unused and irreverent books in present context of technological development. The available books in the library various engineering related courses are sufficient enough to tout the requirement raised by the students from time to time. The learning resources including e-resources are latest and up-to-date and contribute significantly in igniting the minds of the students. Reference Books:

Many high repute Reference books available in the institute. The students and faculty members can refer these books in the Reference book section in the Library

Accessibility to students

The library facilities are available for students from 10.30 AM to 5:00 PM. More than 100 students can sit together for consulting the learning resources and reference books. Adjacent to the study room, there is an automated room offering the free access to online book, journals and also e-learning resources.

Support to student for self learning activities:

Book Bank for SC/ST students:

A separate pool of books are available for SC/ST students of the institution. The SC/ST students are entitled for a set of seven books at a time in the beginning of the academic session.

e-Books:

The institute has 807 e-books of all branches. These e-books can be downloaded by the students as well as the faculty members.

Online books & Journals:

Online books & Journals using Delnet network are available in the institution.
