Established in 2021, the Department of Mechatronics Engineering at Jabalpur Engineering College proudly celebrated a significant milestone with the inauguration of its new building on 27th September 2023. This state-of-the-art facility is designed to foster innovation and research, housing advanced labs such as the Sensors & Instrumentation Lab, Aerial Robotics Lab, Mechatronics System Design Lab, Robotics Lab, Material Testing Lab, CAD & CNC Lab, Microprocessor & Microcontroller Lab, AI & ML Lab, and the EV/HEV Lab.
The new building is not just an addition to the college’s infrastructure but a hub for advanced learning and hands-on training. It is equipped with smart classrooms, GPU trainer kits, servers, and other modern technology to ensure an interactive learning experience. Thoughtfully designed to be inclusive, the facility is fully accessible to differently-abled students, featuring an elevator and other amenities that promote ease of movement and participation.
The department offers a dynamic curriculum that covers essential subjects such as Mechatronic System Design, Control Systems, Digital Electronics, Robotics and Automation, Aerial Robotics, EV/HEV Technology, Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Machine Learning (ML), CAD/CAM, Machine Design, Strength of Materials (SOM), Theory of Machines (TOM), Discrete Signal Processing (DSP), Manufacturing Processes, Microprocessors & Microcontrollers, and Sensors & Instrumentation.
