Mission of Industrial & Production Engineering Department (JEC, Jabalpur)

The Industrial and Production Engineering Department at Jabalpur Engineering College was established in 1998, following a historic announcement by the then President of India, Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma, during the college's Golden Jubilee celebrations in 1997.

This new branch was introduced to address the growing need for interdisciplinary expertise in engineering and management, equipping students to thrive in a rapidly evolving and competitive industrial landscape.

The department aims to impart a robust foundation in Operations Management, Production, and Design while fostering skills in automation, quality control, supply chain management, and sustainable manufacturing practices. It combines a curriculum steeped in traditional engineering principles with modern technologies, such as industrial robotics and CAD/CAM software, preparing students for real-world challenges.
