The ultimate tech competition was conducted by Atomberg and hosted at Shaastra IIT Madras.
After several rounds and 15000+ competitors, students of Jabalpur Engineering College came first.
Problem statement - Motorized System Design.
Solution - An automated Shoe cleaning, dusting, organizer.

The machine is divided into four sections:
First elevation-Dirty shoes can be kept & they move to the cleaning section by Linear actuation and sliding mechanisms.
Second - Robotic arm with brushes, uv-c light & IPA are used to clean the shoes. They move to the third section.
Third-The lift then places the shoes in organizing section by similar actuation process.
Fourth - Shelves are made of rollers to store the shoes and slide further.

NPTEL Achievers

  • 17 students of batch of 2025 has successfully qualified for Computer Vision and Image Processing, Introduction to Industries and IoT, Manufacturing Automation, Python, Reinforcement Learning, Design of Mechatronics Systems, Basics of Finite Element Analysis, Solar Energy Engineering & Technology, and Mechanism & Robotics Kinematics NPTEL courses in 2023-24, with receiving elite certification for completing course with grade more than 85%. This is the highest level of engagement from any branch.

  • Kashish Rathore of the 7th semester successfully completed the C certificate examination of National Cadet Corps.
    Team JEC CRANKERS comprising of Ayush Gupta, Atharva Talankar, Pratyush Sahu and Sahil  Rahangdale(5th sem) of Mechatronics Engineering represented JEC in the ROBOT-SUMO competition held by IIT Indore, where they showed their unique skills of designing and building of an robot.
    Team SAMPATI comprising Bharat Awasthi, Ichchhanshu Jain, Nitin Rai, and Rigveda Sharma represented the branch and our college in the National Innovation and Startup 2.0, with their unique Idea of Surveillance and threat detecting unmanned aerial vehicles. They had also won the Smart India Hackathon held on our college campus.
    Team Starlume consisting of Kartik Yadav, Rigveda Sharma, Vivekanand shah, Upendra Singh, Shratika Agrawal(5th sem) Of our branch became the runner up of Smart India Hackathon held in our college campus by demonstrating the unique Idea of smart lighting system by means of a working model.
    Pratyush Sahu, a 7th-semester student, won the second prize in a National Level poetry writing event organized by Tooryanaad, the Cultural Committee of MANIT-Bhopal.
    Pratyush Sahu and Atharva Talankar, 7th-semester students of Mechatronics Engineering, clinched the consolation prizes in the speech competition on the theme of Anti-corruption organized by Powergrid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL).
    Anushka Pandey, a 5th-semester student, achieved first place in the Indian Language Festival organized by the IT Department of JEC. She along with her team Code Hustlers secured the third position in the college-level round of the Dark Pattern Buster Hackathon.
