Achievements

A Few Achievements of last 3 Years:

1.  MOUs:
   1. MOU with NRSC ISRO: The department has signed an MOU with NSRC ISRO for 5 years for data collection and analysis in the department with the help of LDS system installed in our department in the research Lab.
   2. MOU with HOSHO Digital PTE Ltd: To provide collaborative internship programs for the students of JEC in the field of Al, Automation, and Analytics

2. Award:  Dr JS Thakur (HOD CSE) has been awarded the Test of Time award for his excellent research at the international conference ISEC 2024 organized by ACM and IIIT Bangaluru.
   1. 1. Dr Madhuri Gokhale won the Best Poster award at PReMI 2025 11th InterNational Conference organized by IIT Delhi.

3. Patents: Patent granted to the Department faculties: Dr Saurabh Singh And Prof Madhuri Gokhale has successfully patented the design of BIRD DRINKING TROUGH

4. PhD activities: 15 PhD candidates registered in the department

5. Establishment of Center of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence Builder: A lab of 30 laptops and 2 display panels has been installed in the department in association with IIT Delhi.

6. IIT Indore and MANIT Bhopal inbound program: 3 students and 3 girl students successfully completed their B.Tech program from IIT Indore  and MANIT Bhopal respectively under the government scheme of UG Inbound Program in the last 2 years

7. GATE /CAT:
   1. 40/100 students from the department qualified GATE exam 2024
   2. Naman Nema Student from CSE 2024 batch scored 99.6 percentile in CAT 2024
   3. Anuj Asati Student from CSE 2023 batch achieved GATE rank 50.
   4. Many Students got admission for higher studies in prestigious institutes like IITs, IIITs and IIMs in last 3 Years.

8. Competitions:
   1. Winners of Hack&Make (MP Startup Summit 2026) with 5 lacs pool prize (CSE 6th sem students: Atithi Shekhar, Ubaid Raza , Nagesh Arjari ) 
   2. 3^rd Rank in Smart India Hackathon 2023 (2^nd year CSE students)
   3. 2^nd Rank in Hackbyte 3.0 organized by IIITDMJ, 2025 (4^th year CSE Students)
   4. 2^nd Rank Smart India Hackathon 2025 (National Level) (3^rd year : Pawan Saxena ,Akshatra Sen, Chhavi Chauhan,Vedansh Chandak,Vinay Patidar)
   5. 2^nd Rank HackSRIT 2025 (Devanshi Jain)
   6. 1^st Rank in GDG hackathon at LNMIIT 2025 (1^st Year CSE students)
   7. Winners of vibe Coding Hackathon 2025 (CSE 2^nd year students)
   8. Winners of Prahaar coding Challenge 2025 (6 out of 9 winners are CSE final year students)

10. Six CSE final year students were awarded by SWAYAM NPTEL STAR Award 2025 in two categories (NPTEL motivated Learner & NPTEL Discipline Star)
11. One CSE final year student (Muskan Gupta) received the award in both categories. (only student from the institute to get such recognition this year)
