Exploring Science and Technology: Students from C.M Rise Government Girls Higher Secondary School Visit JEC: 5 October 2024

In the 2024-25 academic session, 80 students from CM Rise Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Karondigram, Ranjhi, Jabalpur, had the opportunity to embark on an industrial tour to Jabalpur Engineering College as part of their Vocational Educational Tour for IT and Electronics students. This visit was organised by Dr Shilpa Saxena, Professor & Student Welfare, Dr Kamal Kushwaha on October 5, 2024, under the supervision of Dr P.K. Jhinge, Principal  JEC.

Prof. Kamal, Head of the Physics Department, guided the students through engaging experiments in optics, magnetism, and modern physics, making these complex subjects accessible and exciting. Prof. Mamta Lambert, Head of the Information Technology Department, enriched their learning by introducing the students to the functions of Microsoft Office and explaining the components of a CPU through hands-on demonstrations. Dr. Jitendra Singh Thakur, Head of the Computer Science Department, along with his faculty, provided valuable guidance and insights into essential computer skills. Dr. Jhinge ensured that the students gained a well-rounded educational experience, blending science with information technology and computer science innovations. This collaborative effort resulted in an enriching educational experience, inspiring the students to further explore their interests in science and technology.
