JEC Women’s Kabaddi Team Wins Inter-College Competition: 6 October 2024

On October 6, 2024, Jabalpur Engineering College (JEC) women's kabaddi team claimed victory against Khalsa Engineering College in the inter-college competition, part of the Rajiv Gandhi Technological University, Bhopal, sports calendar, held at Global Engineering College. Led by Captain Shobha Pradhan, the team showcased outstanding skill, determination, and teamwork throughout the event. This achievement was made possible with the strong support of Principal Dr. P. K. Jhinge, who has consistently encouraged sports participation and holistic student development at the college. The dedicated efforts of the sports officers—Prof. D. C. Rahi, Prof. Bhavna Singh, Prof. Sumeet, Prof Vikrant Patel, Prof. Pratibha Mehra, and Shri Sahdev Rajak were also instrumental in guiding the team to success. This victory not only brings pride to JEC but also emphasises the importance of sports in promoting physical and mental well-being among students.
