Inaugural Induction Program at JEC: Guiding New Students Towards Success: 9 to 13 September 2024.

The inaugural function of the one-week induction program at Jabalpur Engineering College (JEC), held on 9 September 2024, marked a memorable start to the academic journey of the newly admitted students. The event was graced by MLA Ashok Ishwardas Rohani, who warmly welcomed the freshers, shared inspiring words on dreaming big and working hard, and announced a generous contribution of ₹5 lakh from his MLA fund for the college’s development.

Principal Dr. P.K. Jhinge emphasised the importance of projects in skill development, while Program Coordinator and Dean, Dr. Shilpa Saxena, described the program as a “bridge” to help students transition smoothly into college life. Motivational speaker Dr. Pankaj Kumar, one of the speakers at the inaugural function, inspired students with his talk on overcoming obstacles and staying motivated. The inaugural session was well-coordinated by Dr. Kanchan Khare and Dr. Mahima Thakur and concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Dr. Kamal Kumar Kushwaha, HOD(Department of Applied Physics The program left students feeling welcomed, motivated, and connected as new members of the JEC family
