Enter of excellence in High Voltage & Power System was awarded by Technology Information, Forecasting and Assessment council (TIFAC) of Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India has embarked on a novel mission in higher technical education called Relevance and Excellence in Achieving new heights in educational institutions. The uniqueness of this Mission is in bringing together educational institute and industries needing high-quality manpower in areas most relevant to them with government acting as catalyst to create a network of about 1000 TIFAC-Centers of Relevance and Excellence (TIFAC-CORE) in multiple areas throughout India.
