A Talk on “Akhand Bharat Ki Sankalpna”: 23 July 2024
On July 23, 2024, Jabalpur Engineering College hosted an event featuring Dr. Sadanand Sapre, an alumnus and representative of the Pragya Prabha Mission in Bhopal. Principal Dr. Bhavna Jhariya welcomed the guests and introduced Dr. Sapre, a retired professor from MANIT, Bhopal, and a distinguished writer and nationalist. His talk, titled “Akhand Bharat Ki Sankalpna” (The Concept of Undivided India), focused on the importance of national unity, drawing examples from global history and India's freedom struggle. Dr. Sapre emphasised national unity, citing examples like Germany and Vietnam.
He also spoke about the sacrifices of freedom fighters like Subhash Chandra Bose, Bhagat Singh, and Kanaklata Barua. He encouraged students to choose careers that serve the nation and to understand culture with a scientific mindset. The vote of thanks was given by coordinator Dr. Gopal Meena. Principal Dr. Bhavana Jhariya organised this thoughtful session on Undivided India to help students learn from history and understand the importance of unity and patriotism.
