Jabalpur Engineering College Launches Quarterly Newsletter The Tribune: 26 March  2025

On 26 March 2025, Jabalpur Engineering College (JEC) launched its new quarterly newsletter,  The Tribune. The newsletter will share updates on culture, technology, entrepreneurship, and science, while also keeping JEC alumni around the world connected to campus life. Editor Dr. Agya Mishra,  HOD,( Department of AI) shared that The Tribune is a space for students to publish their research, articles, and ideas—giving them a voice and a platform to inspire others Dr Dhirendra Pathak, Head of the Journalism Department, and Shri Mehraj Dubey, Senior Journalist (who joined virtually), shared useful tips on article writing. Mr. Dubey encouraged students to write with clarity, be original, and connect their ideas to real-life experiences. Principal Dr. Rajeev Chandak praised the initiative, calling it “a commendable step to help students express themselves and stay connected with alumni.As part of the launch, the editorial board students prepared a creative video featuring a newspaper distributor cycling around the campus to deliver the newsletter. The footage was well-made and received high appreciation from all present. The content of the newsletter was also displayed to the audience through a projector, giving everyone a glimpse of the articles and features included in the first edition. The event concluded with a cultural program presented by the students, adding a creative touch to the launch celebration.
