JECAA Honors Meritorious Students with Gold Medals: 20 December 2024

Jabalpur Engineering College Alumni Association (JECAA )Gold Medal Distribution Ceremony was held on 20 December 2024 at Jabalpur Engineering College to honour meritorious students of the 2024 academic session. The event commenced with the dignitaries lighting the ceremonial lamp to seek the blessings of Goddess Saraswati. As part of the ceremony, 15 gold medals were awarded to outstanding students across various B.Tech branches. Last year, two new gold medals were introduced with the approval of the JECCA members. These included the Shyamanand Memorial Gold Medal, a distinct honor awarded to the highest achiever in the Electrical Engineering branch, and the Ruchi Nigam Memorial Gold Medal, presented to the topper of M.Sc. Applied Physics. These medals were also conferred upon the deserving students of Electrical Engineering and M.Sc. Physics.

While addressing the gathering, Er. Arvind Mohan Nayak highlighted that the tradition of awarding gold medals was envisioned and initiated by the late JECAA President, Er. Santosh Kumar Gupta acknowledged the efforts of successive principals in upholding this legacy. Principal Dr. P.K. Jhinge emphasised the institution’s dedication to inspiring students to achieve greater milestones. He also provided guidance to the students regarding their future endeavours. JECAA President, Er. M.S. Gujral expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to honour meritorious students, while Er. A.K. Khanna congratulated the awardees on their achievements. Dean Academics, Dr. A.K. Sharma, also extended his best wishes to the students. The ceremony was attended by all heads of departments, faculty members, and a large number of students, demonstrating the collective spirit of encouragement. Dr. Shilpa Saxena, Dean of Student Welfare, successfully coordinated and managed the stage proceedings.
