Alumni and Faculty Unite for Plantation Ceremony: 2 August 2025

 On 2 August 2025, the alumni of JEC’s 1984 batch joined a tree plantation ceremony conducted by the Principal  Dr Rajeev Chandak and faculty members. Their presence reminded students that no matter where life takes them, they will always remain connected to their roots. This connection with nature and the campus began earlier, on JEC’s Foundation Day, 7 July 2024, when the then Principal, Dr. Bhavana Jhariya, created Vidyavan—a small green space within the college campus—under the Vidyavan Abhiyan initiative. Saplings were planted on this occasion, carrying the message that, just like trees, students too must grow with strong roots, patience, and care. Former Principal Dr. P.K. Jhinge carried this tradition forward by organising another plantation drive on 15 August 2024, reminding everyone that nurturing trees is like nurturing one’s growth—something that requires love, dedication, and consistency. This spirit was upheld on 2 August 2025, when Dr. Chandak continued the plantation ceremony, along with the alumni and faculty, keeping the spirit of Vidyavan alive.
