Department of Electrical Engineering  Observes National Voters’ Day: 25 January 2026

The Department of Electrical Engineering, Jabalpur Engineering College, observed National Voters’ Day to promote awareness about responsible and ethical voting among students. Celebrated every year on 25 January to mark the foundation day of the Election Commission of India, the day encourages young citizens to actively participate in the democratic process.

Although 25 January fell on a Sunday this year, the oath-taking ceremony was conducted on 24 January 2026. The electoral oath, emphasising free, fair, and informed voting, was led by the Vice Principal and the Head of the Department, Electrical Engineering. The event saw enthusiastic participation from students and faculty and successfully highlighted the importance of every vote in strengthening democracy.
