Swami Vivekananda Jayanti: Yoga Day at JEC – January 12, 2026

On January 12, 2026, Jabalpur Engineering College (JEC), under the leadership of Dr A. K. Kori, Vice Principal, JEC, Prof & Head, (Department of Electrical Engineering), organised a Yoga Day on the occasion of Swami Vivekananda Jayanti (National Youth Day) to commemorate the birth anniversary of the great visionary and youth icon. The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members, who collectively practised yoga and Surya Namaskar, reflecting Swami Vivekananda’s ideals of holistic physical, mental, and spiritual development. The initiative aimed to inspire young people to adopt discipline, inner strength, and a clear purpose through yoga.

The active involvement and dedication of all participants made the event meaningful and impactful, reinforcing the relevance of Swami Vivekananda’s teachings in contemporary life and appreciating the collective effort toward health, harmony, and nation-building.
